Quote by someweirdguyWell, 250 GB of
data is a lot, and a CD burner just won't cut it anymore. Shell out a few more
bucks for a DVD burner.
No prob, in my old comp I got a dvd+rw burner. I also have plenty of dvd+rw
discs.
Quote by 7eight7If you are moving your HD
to a new computer, it is best that your new computer has a similar motherboard
as your old system.
Yeah that's another ploblem I had. The motherboard of my new pc is completey
different and designed for sata drives. The connections I can use for the 250gb
drive were already used up by a dvd+/-rw and a cd+/-rw.
i ended up disconnecting the cd+/-rw in order to connect the drive. What a waste
of money, now the CD drive is useless for me, so I won't be able to burn copies
of cds I already have.
Aa-chan was correct; after I connected the drive my data was ok. Anyways thank
you all for the help.
Quote by NerdyPenguinI for one
cringe at the thought of having all that data on one drive, without any backups
at all. Hard drives go bad, computers get virii, and people sometimes
accidentally hit "delete". If your data is that important, get a CD
burner and make backups...otherwise, sooner or later you'll be wishing you did
.
That said, assuming you know what you're doing you shouldn't have any problems
swapping the drive, assuming you use another drive for the OS. Just don't use
any of those partition resizers...even though I've never used them and can't
talk from experience, I wouldn't trust them with a 10 meter pole,
Quote by Aa-chanIf you reformat the
drive, then the date will be lost. If it's just data, then I presume you have
another HDD used for intalling the OS? If so, then you don't need to touch your
250gb data drive, just simply place it in the new PC and plug it in
.
I've noticed that in the recent submissions section of my notifications page,
only recent submissions from newly added members to my friends list appear. Why
aren't I being notified of recent submissions from older members in my friends
list?
EDIT: Also, why am I not redirected to the last page after I make a post in a
multi-page forum? As someone mentioned earlier, this also caused me to double
post a few days back.
Inuyasha is great! It could go to eps. 300 and I'd still watch it, though I'd
hope by that time Naraku is long dead; him still being alive after so many eps.
is the only thing pissing me off. There could easily be other powerful demons
wreaking havoc upon feudal Japan; I don't see a reason for him to be alive in
order to keep the series going.
I feel the same as fearful prince and Eeva Leena. Inuyasha is probably my second
favorite anime series. I don't think it has gotten boring at all, though I am
pissed that after 145 eps. that damned coward Naraku is still alive. I will
watch it till the end, but hope it has no end.XD
I agree that ecchi is great as long as the storyline is good. But, if the
storyline is not good and the female characters are good looking, then ecchi is
still great.XD
My name is David. My favorite sport is basketball. The only three jerseys I own
are of: Michael Jordan #23, Reggie Miller #31, and Grant Hill #33. So, I put
2331 at the end of my name because I thought it sounded cool, like some kind of
robot name. I pronounce it: david two three three one.
I was planning on buying a katana, or even better a 3 piece set that includes a
katana, wakizashi, and a tanto sword. Then I realized I had already spent too
much money buying anime.
I've watched and like many anime series, but if I have to pick 3:
1. Dragonball (all including dragonball,z,and gt), because the main characters
can destroy and character from any other series. These guys need entire planets
as their battlefields from crying out load. Not to mention they can easily
destroy these planets, not that they would(the good guys at least).
2. Inuyasha, because I think he kicks or should I say cuts demon arse well. The
storyline is amazing, the best in my opinion.
3. Rurouni Kenshin, because I love me a good sword fight. When it comes to
samurai action, this show is number 1 in my book.
Others I think are great include: Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, Berserk, Blue Gender,
all Gundam related anime, Neon Genesis Evangelion, X, etc. As you can see I love
any anime with good storylines and good action sequences.
I agree with PANDAgirl. Sesshoumaru and Sephiroth kick serious arse. Though I
think it has less to do with their hair and more to do with the size of swords
they wield.
There are a lot of anime couples I like, but since they are from an anime I'm
currently watching, I have to go with Inuyasha & Kagome. I can't get enough
of how much they argue, hide their true feelings, yet, you know they are willing
to die for one another.
Last summer I went crazy buying anime on ebay. I watched a lot of them, but then
the summer ended. I still have a lot I haven't had the time to watch. I am
currently watching: Inuyasha, and Witch Hunter Robin.
I don't watch hentai on a regular basis, but I have seen it... and liked it.
lol. In regards to the games, it's only been about a week since I found out they
even existed.
David here, finally introducing myself. Just here to browse, since I don't know
how to or have the neccessary programs to create wallpapers. Sorry about that,
but I will try to leave comments on each wallpaper I view or download.
My comp came w/ McAfee. I'll give this AVG a try, I'm all for the free stuff.

Thanks for the advice.
Thanks!
I got a new pc and want to move my 250gb drive to it. All it has is data. Will my data be erased if I have to reformat the drive?

Seems to have a good sense of humor!XD
Way to go MT, keep it up! MT rules!^_^
When I first found out about DA I also found out that anime had just recently been banned, so I thought it sucked and never joined.

Hard to decide, having seen so many. I guess I'll go with the openings for the jap. ver. of Inuyasha. It always has great music and shows cool scenes.
Vegeta from DBZ makes one bad ass villain, even when he's one of the good guys.
